Summary & Objective:
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for planning, creating, posting, and monitoring engaging organic social media content across various platforms. This role plays a key part in strengthening our partners’ social media presence by staying ahead of trends, identifying timely opportunities, and ensuring content is relevant and effective. The Social Media Specialist should continuously look for ways to improve organic social performance through strategic planning, trend monitoring, and a strong speed-to-market mindset.
Essential Functions:
Plan, develop, and implement organic social media strategies, campaigns, and content calendars to build brand awareness and drive audience engagement.
Stay up to date on trends, platform updates, and emerging opportunities to ensure timely, relevant content that keeps partners ahead of the curve.
Proactively monitor and identify opportunities for trend-based content and fast-turnaround posts that enhance organic performance.
Coordinate and collaborate with the creative design and content teams to produce visually compelling, on-brand assets for social media.
Write clear, engaging, and on-brand copy for organic social posts across multiple platforms, tailored to each audience and channel.
Publish and schedule content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, and others as appropriate.
Monitor and engage with audiences by responding to comments, and interactions in a timely and professional manner.
Monitor and analyze social media performance using tools such as Sprout Social, Meta Business Manager, and other analytics platforms to identify opportunities for improvement.
Conduct regular research on competitor activity, industry trends, and platform best practices to continuously refine strategies.
Support the development and implementation of organic optimization strategies to increase reach, engagement, and audience growth.
Work closely with Account Managers and Performance Managers to align organic efforts with broader partner goals and report key insights internally as needed.
Research new social media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities.
The ability to work on a hybrid 3+2 office/work-from-home model (5 days at the office for the initial 90 days).
All other duties as assigned by iFrog Management.
Competencies:
Required Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Proficient with multiple social media platforms.
Prior experience implementing or participating in long- and short-term social media strategies.
Proven ability to write strong, unique content and calls to action to drive and engage audiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or a related field.
1-2 years prior experience in social media production using platforms like Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Agorapulse, Hootsuite, etc.
Working knowledge of the automotive industry.
Proficient with Google Suite.
Proficient with macOS.
