Role Description:
The Site Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of our logistics site. This dynamic leader will have a proven history of success in logistics and supply chain management, demonstrating exceptional operational expertise and leadership capabilities. The Site Manager will ensure seamless site operations, prioritize safety, and drive continuous improvement across all activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily site operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution activities.
  • CDL required with a minimum of 3 years of CDL driving experience.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
  • FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance required.
  • Ability to handle trailer spotting and movements efficiently.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely replenishment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, resolve issues, and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of supervisors, coordinators, and staff.
  • Oversee financial management for the site, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Champion continuous improvement using OSHA principles to enhance safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Forecast workload and staffing needs, ensuring strategic alignment with operational demands.
  • Manage depth charts for critical roles, promoting cross-training and preparedness.
  • Set clear daily expectations for supervisors and provide strategic direction for each shift.
  • Conduct daily meetings to establish goals for productivity, safety, and quality, ensuring resource allocation as needed.
  • Monitor and adjust the flow of inbound and outbound operations, prioritizing critical tasks.
  • Track and report key performance metrics to Managment, driving accountability and results.
  • Ensure effective asset management and loss prevention measures.
  • Support supervisors and leads with career development and succession planning.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, including at least 3 years in managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with logistics systems, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
  • Experience developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 
Benefits and Compensation:
Annual Salary : $60,000 - $65,000.

Schedule:

  • 3-2-2 schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM.
