Bainbridge Prepares (BP) is a nonprofit organization deeply rooted in building community resilience and disaster response with 750+ credentialed volunteers. We focus on preparing individuals, neighborhoods, and the greater Bainbridge Island community for natural and human-made disasters through education, training, partnerships, and scalable action. The Executive Director (ED) is the chief executive of Bainbridge Prepares and is responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. The ED leads with a strong community ethic, empowering volunteers, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and guiding BP’s strategic growth. This position manages day-to-day operations, cultivates funding opportunities, ensures program effectiveness, and represents BP publicly and professionally.
